Has the Kings Road Slasher been caught?
An arrest has been made involving that horrific triple murder last week on Kings Road in West Hollywood that left three men dead of gunshot wounds.
Tonight, Harold Yong Park, age 31, of East Hollywood, is under arrest on multiple murder charges.
Here is the narrative of the arrest and details....from Lieutenant Pat Nelson, Homicide Bureau, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department:
"After exhaustive follow-up investigation the past several days, members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau and Major Crimes Bureau have arrested a suspect in connection with the triple murder that occurred in the city of West Hollywood on August 26th.
Harold Yong Park, Male Korean, aged 31 years, of Los Angeles (east Hollywood), was arrested without incident following a traffic stop in the Lomita Sheriff's Station area at around 11 AM, Monday, August 30. His vehicle was located by an Advanced Surveillance and Protection System’s (ASAP) Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) patrol vehicle. He was transported to a local Sheriff’s Station where he was interviewed by the Sheriff's Homicide case investigators.

The motive for the killings is still under investigation, but investigators believe robbery was involved.
Following his interview, Park was booked for murder and is being held without bail at the Lomita Sheriff’s Station jail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney in the coming days.
Lieutenant Nelson said, "The people of West Hollywood can rest easy tonight. The timely resolution of this case is the culmination of extensive efforts by Sheriff's Homicide Bureau and Major Crimes Bureau investigators, Scientific Services Bureau (Crime Lab) crime scene investigators, and West Hollywood and Lomita Station sheriff's deputies.
Law enforcement had previously mentioned that "drugs appeared" not to be a motive in this case.
