New York City, New York

On August 24th, it became official; NYC is the #1 capital for bed bugs. Bed bugs are at epidemic proportions in NYC.

I just got back from the slums in Kingston, Jamaica and trust me, I saw bugs.

But now the BIG APPLE is the BIG BED BEG BOY for CITIES ALL over AMERICA.

My special pal Steve Kolander, the BEST SOCIAL COMMENTARY in THE USA...has a new song and tribute to the bad-ass critter.

Bed bugs are no longer a problem of the slums and low-income housing, nope they are taking over EVERYWHERE.

They are now found in the posh areas of New York.

This is a parody song by Kolander is a take off on the TV hit series theme, 'Moving on Up' for "The Jefferson's".

Thought you’d like to know, here are the HOT BED BUG SPOTS IN AMERICA! BTW. Showing some love for our "Peeps" here in Los Angeles.

We trail at #10...way behind New Dork.

1. New York
2. Detroit
3. Philly
4. Cincinnati
5. Chicago, Illinois
6. Denver, Colorado
7. Columbus, Ohio
8. Dayton, Ohio
9. Washington, D.C.
10. Los Angeles, CA

I found on a blog that scientists think that bed bugs are showing up at rates not seen since World War II because we used to use DDT as an insecticide against these little buggers.

It should be noted that while bed bugs suck blood and leave welts, they’re not supposed to carry diseases. I say, lets screw these little blood suckers and BRING back DDT!

Well, if bed bugs can make it here, they’ll make it anywhere. It’s up to you New York, New York.
