Hang on to those wedding band boyz and girlz here in the Golden State....
"Same sex couples" who want to tie the knot have been dealt a "slight" set back today.
A "hold" on same sex marriages has been placed on the till at least this coming December after the new ruling was issued this afternoon.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on Monday stayed Judge Vaughn Walker's ruling in the high-profile constitutional challenge to California's same-sex marriage ban.
The appeals court agreed to hear in early December a bid by same-sex marriage opponents to appeal the case in the place of Calif. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Attorney General Jerry Brown, who have declined to file an appeal.

But the court hinted in its order that it was skeptical of the opponents' standing to appeal the case.
