BREAKING NEWS: Bradley Robert Eckhardt, Perris Planning Director killed in July 4th Motorcycle accident

Bradley Robert Eckhardt, 48, the popular planning director of the City of Perris was killed on the Fourth of July in a tragic motorcycle crash.

Eckhardt lost control of his vintage motorcycle and hit a pickup truck. He was a Temecula resident and died at around 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.  The crash occurred at  Lilac Road south of West Lilac Road in Valley Center, according to San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office officials.

Eckhardt was riding his 1969 R350 Yamaha motorcycle southbound when he lost control of the bike and slid into the path of an oncoming Dodge Ram 2500 pickup.   Paramedics were not able to resuscitate Eckhardt. RIP!
