One man was shot dead and another was critically wounded during a wild shootout at a "medical marijuana dispensary." These pot pick up locations are becoming more and more violent.
At around 4:15 p.m. on Thursday afternoon an number of suspects entered a "medical" pot shop in the 1300 block of Sunset Boulevard and opened fire, leaving one man dead and the other was rushed to a local hospital.
This location is near Dodger Stadium.
The suspects have not been located, but the one victim who was injured did provide some minor details about the crime before he was taken to a local area hospital.
The Los Angeles Police Department set up a barricade area around Sunset Boulevard from Marion Avenue to Douglas Avenue. No one is being allowed into this area and it remains on "lock down" as of 10 p.m.
Lets face it, these "local corner" pot shops are now violent outposts and are creating mega millionaires in the name of "medicine." Some "small shops" make as much as $100,000 per day in cash.
It is time to rethink the "medical pot plan."
How many more people are going to get killed before some elected official actually speaks up and stops this refer madness?
