Ontario, Quebec, Canada:
A rare 5.0 earthquake hit Quebec, Ontario, Canada this afternoon, sending shock waves around the seismic world. Earthquakes this big in this part of the world are unheard of so to speak. If this would have happened in our neck of the woods here in Southern California, it would have been no biggie.
But thanks to the magic of You Tube, today's shaker in Canada just became an Internet hit all over the globe.
BTW. No aftershocks thus far. Keep those camcorders handy.
