Bono, the legendary lead singer of the rock group U2 has  undergone emergency back surgery for an injury sustained during tour preparation training in Germany today.

According to his doctors, "Bono was admitted to a specialist neuro surgery unit in a Munich hospital, and is under the care of neuro surgeon Prof. Dr. Jorg Tonn and Dr Muller Wohlfahrt. Bono will spend the next few days there, before returning home to recuperate."

So, due to this situation, one of his upcoming US Concert stops has already been scrapped and many more could be called off or postponed.

A June 3rd sold out concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for June 3rd has been "postponed."

I have 3 tickets to the U2 Concert at Anaheim Stadium on Monday, June 7th, and so far, no word if that concert date is going to be held or cancelled.

I bought these tickets on line the first day they went on sale.

I love Bono and U2, and I am praying for him today.  Concerts take a back seat to someones life.  Get well...and don't push it....

Once his condition has been assessed further, another official statement will be made, and I will post it here.  Hey, do you have tickets to the Anaheim concert?  Let me know, and tell me your thoughts in my comment section!
