Can you believe they ( Whittier) want to raise the water rates by 21 percent! Already, this city has a cost-of-living index nearly twice the national average.
In the good economic times, The city decided to build a “Greenway Trail to Nowhere.” They should have spent the money on improving an outdated water system.
