Cerritos, CA:

One of the victims killed in the tragic accident on the 5 Freeway and 605 Interchange on Tuesday night,  Ryan Tiedeman, is being remembered for his local athletic roots here.

Tiedeman was a graduate of Richard Gahr High School in 2009 where he played on the men's baseball team.

Tiedeman entered Cerritos College in the fall of 2008 and was on the Cerritos College Falcon Men's Baseball Team and played as an outfielder.

His player stats for the 2009 Baseball Season are listed on  the Cerritos College website .
Ryan was tall at 6'0, and weighed 180 lbs, according to the Cerritos College Athletic web site.

Also killed in the tragic accident was his longtime friend Jacob Aragon, 19 of Lakewood.  As soon as I get more details on Jacob, I will pass them along.

Funeral services are pending.
