HOLLYWOOD -- Nicolas Chartier, the producer of the Best Picture nominee "The Hurt Locker" has been banned from the Oscar's this Sunday, because he sent e-mails to academy members attacking rival film "Avatar."
Chartier urged Academy Members "not to vote for a "$500 million film", a reference to best-picture contender "Avatar."
So, the politics of Oscar gold has gotten really hot this week.
