What the heck is going on in our society when members of the Bolsa Grande High School Baseball team has all of their playing gear stolen from a locked storage area right on school property?

This idiotic, heartless, "un-American" crime is making headlines all over the globe tonight..

Here is what happened....
Bolsa Grande High School Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Players and coaches locked up their equipment last week right after practice. When they returned 24 hours later, everything was gone, and I mean EVERYTHING....gloves, bats, helmets, cleats, catching gear, a pitching machine. Nothing was left by these creepy crooks.

The value of the items stolen is being estimated at $10,000 to $15,000. About 80 percent of the items that were taken belonged to individual players; the rest was purchased by the school and the high school booster club.

So, law enforcement is looking for those who did this crime, and they need our help!

If you know who did this....and trust me...it takes MORE than ONE person to pull this caper off...you need to do the RIGHT thing and call the Garden Grove Police Department at 714-741-5704 and hit #1.

Bolsa Grande High School is accepting equipment, gear as well as cash donations from the community.

Checks may be written to "Bolsa Grande High School Baseball" and mailed to the school address at 9401 Westminster Ave., Garden Grove, CA 92844. For more information call 714-663-6424.

I just wanted to thank you for helping to get the word out. As you might imagine my players were devastated to find all their equipment stolen and disappointed that we had to cancel our season opener. Once again thank you.

You know, sometimes things happen for a reason. I think everything is going to be just great with your team, Coach.

This "life" lesson is going to be much bigger than any "opening" game any one of your players could ever imagine.

Just wait...good things will come out of this situation

I can just feel it! Keep in touch.
