We Angelenos love a juicy high profile celebrity trial.  Hell, we live for moments like these.

The Michael Jackson death investigation could come to a head today in Downtown, and a new media circus could soon be arriving in town.

Criminal charges relating to Michael Jackson's death last summer will be filed Monday, Los Angeles prosecutors told CNN on Sunday.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office did not say what the charges would be or who would be charged, but Dr. Conrad Murray -- Jackson's personal physician, who was with him when he died has been the center of the investigation for months.

It was unclear whether Los Angeles police would arrest Murray or whether the doctor would be allowed to turn himself into authorities for booking and a bond hearing Monday.  Regardless of the charges, today a new Media Circus could be pitching a new "big top" here in Downtown Los Angeles.

I'm not so sure if this case will be bigger than the OJ Simpson Murder Trial, or the Rodney King beating trial, or even the Manson Family Murder Trial.  But one thing is for sure.  This town LOVES a GOOD MEDIA CIRCUS TRIAL...and this one has all the elements for being a real show stealer!  Stay Tuned!

What to look for on Monday: DA's office in L.A. doesn't say what the charges would be or who would be charged. Attorney for Dr. Conrad Murray says he expects his client will be charged. Murray was Michael Jackson's personal physician when the singer died on June 25. Coroner has ruled Jackson's death a homicide, resulting from a combination of drugs.
