BREAKING NEWS: Don Bosco Tech Catholic High School releases "official statement" regarding stabbing of Principal Gary Catalano

Officials from Don Bosco Technical Institute (Catholic High School) here in Rosemead, CA, has issued the following statement regarding the stabbing of Principal Gary J. Catalano today.

"Friday, January 15, 2010

Dear Parents, Students and Staff:

At approximately 12:15 p.m. today, Mr. Catalano, the school's Principal was assualted by a student. The student is now in custody. Mr. Catalano is in good condition and has been transported to a hospital for further evaluation.

Our concern is for our Prinicpal's well-being, and our childrens safety. Let us Pray for Mr. Catalano and for the student."

You may know me from my role as the Senior Advisor and Official Media Spokesman for the Recall Gavin Newsom campaign that established a worldwide blitz of interviews.
