CERRITOS - Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a suspect in connection with the death of a Cerritos man found in his home in May, authorities said Wednesday.
Stephen Wohlgemuth, 52, was arrested on July 24 in connection with the death of 64-year-old Joseph Paul Glebovich, who was found dead in his home on the 12900 block of Droxford Street on the morning of May 4, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Philip Guzman.

Authorities did not release information on the cause of death or a possible motive, citing the ongoing investigation. Guzman said the men were acquaintances.

"They had been friends many years ago but I don't think they maintained contact," the deputy said. "In a case like this it's process of elimination. We couldn't exclude anybody, including old friends such as him."

Guzman said homicide detectives tracked Wohlgemuth to his home city of Las Vegas, where he was arrested. He is currently awaiting extradition to face first degree murder charges.
