Could SURPRISE CANDIDATE change Artesia City Council election? Stay tuned.

ARTESIA CAM-PAIN?

Hearing lots of rumblings tonight that a well connected, well funded, never expected challenger could be launching a "serious" campaign for this November's Artesia City Council election.

If my sources are correct, this ONE person's entry into the Artesia council race will cause "heads" to turn, and will send a political shock wave over on Summer Avenue in Artesia.

Hint, she is a she...and she is a Latina (humm..."A wise Latina?) ...and she lives in the northern portion of Artesia, and she has never sought public office before, but has a well known political name.

Three well-known incumbents, Mayor Sally Zuniga Flowers, and Councilmen John Martins and Victor Manalo are all up for re-election and have till Aug. 7th to file.

You may know me from my role as the Senior Advisor and Official Media Spokesman for the Recall Gavin Newsom campaign that established a worldwide blitz of interviews.
