Walk for Life: Beating Cancer, One Lap At A Time!

Runnin' Around Gahr High, Figthin' Cancer, On It!
THE past 24 hours...local American Cancer Society has been sponsoring the annual "Walk For Life" at Rants Stadium at Gahr High School.
This annual event attracts hundreds of local community leaders and residents, to raise money to fight cancer.
Last night I ran into a lot of great friends, all doing their part for this amazing cause.
Seen: ROTARY GUYS: President Suge "Texas Hold' Em'" Kitahara, Felix "The Insurance Broker with the Generous Heart" Lopez, Dr. Steve "God Father of the Pirate" Sherman; The Ponce' Family (Terri Gray Ponce, former classmate of mine, with her husband and son. Terri is also the sister of Cerritos community organizer Jay Gray), Tony Martins and his totally cool rock and roll band was gettin' jiggy on the field; Cerritos Community icon Hula Hedy Harrison, Cerritos Mayor Pro-Tem Joseph "Joe" Cho (who opted to be with the community fighting cancer instead of attending the lavish California Contract Cities Confab in Indian Wells this weekend, right on Joe Cho!), Cerritos Commish Nick Kim, and many other wonderful people. The event ends Sunday late afternoon.
