UPDATE AT 7:30 PM: TWO MURDERED at 7600 block of Bell Avenue; Homicide officials rushing to location

Detectives have learned the victims were walking along Bell Avenue when a mid-sized vehicle approached them. One of the occupants of the vehicle fired several rounds at the victims, striking them. The suspects fled the scene in the vehicle. 


Two people have been shot and killed this afternoon at the 7600 block of Bell Avenue in Walnut Park.  Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide are on route to the location to begin investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of two male adults. One victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
