GALLEGLY THROWS IN CONGRESSIONAL TOWEL. CALLING IT QUITS IN '12 RACE

Well, we won't have Rep. Elton Gallegly to kick around anymore. Yep, the long time Congressman from the Northwestern part of Los Angeles County (and into Ventura) is NOT going to seek reelection in 2012. His announcement can this morning.

BUCK IN.....

"The decision to step aside at this time did not come lightly, It has been an honor and a privilege to have served our communities and our country for the past 25 years and I look forward to continue to do so for the next year," he said.

GOP Rep. Buck McKeon (who?) will now have this district to LOSE in the fall.

Wonder if any other REP is going to get in on this race?

You may know me from my role as the Senior Advisor and Official Media Spokesman for the Recall Gavin Newsom campaign that established a worldwide blitz of interviews.
