The OC:
Is the nasty five day teachers strike over at the Capistrano Unified School District?
As of 11:30 p.m., it appears that the School District and teachers union have come to a tentative "mutual agreement" that will end teacher picketing.
Capistrano USD school board Prez Anna Bryson said an agreement was reached at 11:30 p.m.
The final details of the agreement have not been made public. The Capistrano Unified teachers strike began from a conflict for more than nine months, when district leaders began pursuing a permanent 10 percent pay cut for rank-and-file teachers.
More than 70% to 90% of the students stayed home during the short lived strike. Capo Unified has more than 50,000 students attending schools from grades K-12.
More details as the break....
