La Mirada Regional Park is a sprawling oasis located near the La Mirada City Hall, La Mirada High School, and Biola University. It is operated by the Los Angeles County Parks Department and features a lake, athletic fields, jogging paths, and rolling hills. It is one of the most popular parks in Southeast Los Angeles County and annually attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors.
The three names of the deputies who were detained have not been made public or to the media as of 1 p.m. Friday.
The investigation is continuing. I am not going to "cast" judgement on these Deputies. Let's allow the system to take its course on this case. Keep you posted. What are your thoughts?
