Last night at the Cerritos Library, we celebrated the 60th Birthday of my God Father Dr. Steve Sherman. What a great party. More than 120 of Steve's family, friends, work associates, and community leaders gathered to celebrate Steve's life and birthday.

In lieu of gifts, those in attendance were asked to make a donation to one of Steve's local favorite community organizations, including the Whittier Rio Hondo Aids Project, Su Casa, and the Cerritos Artesia Rotary Club.

Steve also was honored with an "official" birthday greeting from California Governor Arnold Swarzenneger who was represented by Southern California Field Director Arceli Gonzalez (who is also a great pal of mine). Steve was joined at the Party by members of his family, including his amazing wife Dr. Mary Sherman, and daughter Sarah Sherman.
