Let Freedom Ring ROCKED Cerritos Civic Center!

The 35th Annual Let Freedom Ring Celebration in Cerritos, California was one of the best ever!  My mom, Rosemary Economy started this annual celebration 35 years ago with a lot of my neighbors who live over on the Eastside of Cerritos.   The festival has grown, and the patriots where all there.  I took a ton of pics, and will be publishing them as soon as I can (hopefully later tonight).
The highlights were the fireworks over Cerritos High School.  Wow.  This years was SPECTACULAR.  I have to tip my hat to Mayor Jim Edwards and the ENTIRE CERRITOS City Council for their kindness shown to me and my mother during this amazing day.  Also, I want to thank our fantastic City Manager Art Gallucci, and Parks Director Sherri Titus for a perfect day of planning and coordination.  Also, the Let Freedom Ring Committee was PERFECT and need to all be saluted for their leadership.
Anyway....thanks for keeping this tradition alive and well.  We thank you for your kindness, compassion, and love!
I had a blast at the Cerritos High School Key Club Booth.  This club now has over 360 members.  I was one of the original founders of this club on the CHS Campus along with the help and sponsorship of my late father Dick Economy who was a member of the Cerritos Kiwanis Club back in the early 1970's.  I met Amy Chen, the President of the CHS Key Club. Amy is a ball of fire, and she is also the Editor of "The Informer" this next year.  BTW....I was the Editor of the Informer at CHS in 1978.  Small World.  The Key Club actually sang to me from the booth....and I was very touched!
Also, had fun with Emil Ali, and Ali Solomon, and my God Father Steve Sherman, and Mary and Sarah Sherman, and with Joan Plyman, Candy Yee, Matt Kauble, Bruce Barrows, and my ol' pal Sally Torres who was here representing Governor Arnold.  Sally is a great pal, and it was wonderful seeing her here.
Anyway....pics will be published tonight or Monday.
