CRAIG INGRAHAM: Former Santa Clarita Building Inspector Charged with Accepting Bribes
LOS ANGELES – A former building inspector for the City of Santa Clarita is scheduled to be arraigned Sept. 30 on charges he accepted more than $30,000 in bribes while issuing and signing off on building permits, the District Attorney’s office announced.
Craig Allen Ingraham, 58 (dob 10-9-52), is scheduled to be arraigned at the Criminal Justice Center, Department 30. He was charged in case BA388102, filed Aug. 29 for arrest warrant, with seven counts of accepting bribes and one count of issuing a check with insufficient funds, said Deputy District Attorney Sean Hassett with the Public Integrity Division.
The complaint alleges that Ingraham accepted cash, cigars, a sink and vanity, and $29,000 loan in exchange for issuing and signing off on building permits. Ingraham allegedly accepted the bribes between March 1, 2007 and Dec. 22, 2008.
The complaint also alleges that he issued a $30,600 check from his JP Morgan Chase Bank account knowing that he had insufficient funds.
The Canyon Country resident who no longer works for the city was arrested Sept. 1 by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies and later released on $50,000 bond.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years, eight months in state prison.

Anna Graceman was great last night on America's Got Talent with her take on "True Colors." Was it good enough to get into the TOP FIVE FINALISTS? I think so. This years AGT is off the hook amazing, especially with groups like ILLUMINATE and other acts that are truly "over produced" and way "over the top."
I like Anna Graceman, I think I must be one of her biggest fans here on the World Wide Web. She is truly what this program represents. I enjoy watching ILLUMINATE as well. Let's watch tonight to see if American got it right or wrong?

Kinde Durkee, the indicted treasurer and accountant to hundreds of mostly Democratic Party elected officials, political action groups and committees is going to be held without bail by Federal officials until at least Friday of this week, the Los Cerritos Community News has learned.
A "disciplinary hearing" is slated to take place at the end of the week in an Orange County Federal Courthouse.

A booking photo of Durkee is also being withheld by the FBI and Department of Justice and will not be released for the next few days, the LCCN has learn.
The indictment of Durkee also points to additional possible victims including Irvine Councilwoman Beth Krom who was a former candidate for Congress in 2010, and Congresswoman Susan Davis of San Diego. Two other well known Orange County Democratic office holders are also named as "victims" in Durkee's scheme include Rep. Loretta Sanchez, and Assemblyman Jose Solario.

California State Assemblyman Jose Solrario has issued the following statement regarding the arrest of his campaign Treasurer Kindee Durkee on Friday, in which he appears to be one of two victims.

- State Assemblyman Jose Solorio (D-Anaheim) released the following
statement today regarding the criminal complaint brought against Kinde
Durkee, a prominent campaign treasurer who worked for many elected
officials including Assemblyman Solorio.
"I
want to thank the FBI for their diligence in bringing this criminal
complaint forward. I hope this unfortunate situation is resolved quickly
and everyone involved gets their money back.
Meanwhile,
I'm busy trying to restore $48 million due to Orange County and move
the rest of my 2011 legislative package to the Governor's desk before
Session ends on Friday. I'll let the FBI and the courts do their work,
and I'll do mine."

Kinde Durkee, the embattled political accountant for hundreds of politicians here in California will be arraigned on at least one felony account of mail fraud this aftas ernoon inside a Santa Ana Federal Court House the Los Cerritos Community News has learned. The victims include United States Rep. Loretta Sanchez and Assemblyman Jose Solario, both Democrats out of Orange County. The 17 page indictment states that Durkee “intended” to defraud Jose Solario and the Solario of State Assembly campaign in 2010. The Los Cerritos Community News has learned that Durkee allegedly transferred money out of Solorio’s account and placed it in her own “personal account without “the victim’s knowledge.” The complaint also states that Durkee has “signature” control over 400 different campaign bank accounts and that she “routinely” transferred money out of these accounts “without the knowledge” of the candidate or elected official. The complaint alledges that Durkee transferred funds from campaign accounts to pay for her own “personal American Express charges and bank accounts.” The complaint also states that Durkee admitted to federal investigators that she had been “misappropriating her clients money for years, and that and forms she filled out with the state were false.” In the indictment, it also claims that as much as $300,000 In an interview with members of the FBI and US Department of Justice this morning, the Los Cerritos Community News was told that this case could become "the tip of the iceberg" and that many other indictments could follow. According to spokesperson Laura Eimiller, with the Los Angeles office of the FBI, Durkee was taken into custody last Friday at around 4:15 p.m. “without incident” at her Burbank office of “Durkee and Associates.” The veteran political consultant and campaign treasurer represents hundreds of well known and local elected officials throughout the region and California. It is not known at this time how many elected officials and candidates may have fallen victim to Durkee, according to Steve DuPree with the United States Justice Department. “This is a serious criminal case, which is still in the early stages,” DuPree said. Well, well, well. Life and politics. Sooner or later, it always catches up to you.
Thrilled that the FBI has FINALLY arrested Kinde Durkee of Durkee and Associates who is one of the biggest political treasurers in California and is now BEHIND BARS. Lots of buzz around the case. Story is breaking all over the Left Coast this "Democratic Labor Day Weekend."
As soon as I can get my hands on the arrest report (may not be available till Tuesday) I will post them here on my blog. Wonder who is next? Who are her clients? I put together a list of Durkee and Associates clients ( : The California Democratic Party, the Los Angeles County Democratic Party, the Orange County Democratic Party, US Senator Dianne Feinstein, yada, yada, yada.
If you are a politician in California, you MAY want to consider the fact that she actually controls your campaign committee and YOU probably want to check your account balances ASAP. Just sayin.... Wonder how many people are going to "go down" in this case? This could become another "Whose Who Of Politics" pointing fingers in everyone else's direction.
She even has a "Facebook Fan Page!" Yep. Only 56 "Likes" for this group. Have you been burned by Durkee and Associates? Hit my comment section below and SOUND OFF....!
