Did the LA Times uncovered the "next Bell" political scandal? Kinda appears that it just may have stumbled upon lots of dirty secrets over at the Central Basin Water District.
Incredible FRONT PAGE EXPOSE' coverage today in the LA Times. Literally blasts our local Central District Water Basin District into orbit. LA Times Reporters Sam Allen, Hector Becerra, and Patrick McGreevy today published what appears to be the first in many articles into the daily political dealings inside the obscure taxpayer owned water agency. I have heard about this investigation for months.... finally hitting in the street and web edition today....

hummm. who is this Sally Flowers working for?
Michael Franchek, a co-owner of EcoGreen, said he was excited to get the news. But later, he said, a district project manager, Sally Flowers, called to ask if he'd be willing to give a portion of the work to Oldtimers.
"She said, 'There's a local guy, he's done some work for the district, and some of the board members want to give this guy some work,'" Franchek recalled. "She mentioned the Oldtimers Foundation and that the principal of the firm was a former board member of Central Basin."
Flowers declined to comment.
