Tonight at 9:08 p.m., right after sunset, thick white smoke was being emitted into the Eastside Cerritos, California air from the PGP Industries Heraeus Plant located at the corner of Carmenita Road and Alondra Boulevard in the City of Santa Fe Springs.

This plant is the location, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, the South Coast Air Quality Management Distict and the City of Cerritos as being the source that has emitted dangerous levels of the toxin Hydrazine into our air.
If you have photos you want to share from inside this location...email them to RREconomy@aol.com. No questions asked.

As a previous employee of heraeus there are different stacks that do different things the photos you have taken are of stacks emitting steam. I am not protecting my former employee but if you are not sure of what your seeing how can you post information online your unsure of?. Heraeus is no angel they do have problems but they also have local fire departments monitoring the whole plant with sensors along the fence lines and also monitoring the processes they know when something is wrong and believe me they will show up and take the appropriate steps to protect the people. After all everything heraeus does the city has to approve of first through engineers etc.
